Peter Hall

Stage and film actor, director, puppeteer, teacher and writer, Mr Hall’s career in professional theatre has spanned over forty years. Directing credits have included original productions at the Caravan Farm Theatre, Runaway Moon Theatre, Mortal Coil Performance Society, Kaleidoscope Theatre and Sen,klip Native Theatre. Many of these productions have involved the exploration and synthesis of puppets and actor. Mr. Hall is the artistic director of Mortal Coil Performance Society with whom he directed Letters from Lithuania as well as Salmon Row an original site specific work set in the Steveston Britannia Shipyards Heritage Site. Most recently, Mr. Hall adapted and co-directed Yayoi Movement Theatre’s production of Medea. He has directed/produced a number of Ghost Train offerings in Stanley Park and is currently in development of The Gulliver Project, a site specific piece which will incorporate a thirteen foot puppet. Most recent stage appearance was in All Is Calm with the Chor Leoni Choir. Recent film credits include The Flash, Falling Skies, Colour of Rain, Mortal Kombat, and Fringe.
