Bruce Ruddell

Canadian League of Composers, Playwrights Guild of Canada and the recipient of the Canadian Aboriginal Music Award for his work with First Nations music and theatre projects in Canada and The United States. Bruce Ruddell has contributed to the arts in Canada and abroad for the past 40 years. He is a composer, arranger, music director, conductor, playwright, artistic director and record producer. His compositions have been premiered and broadcast world-wide. Presently: Canada Council award to write a new play based on the Chilcotin War of 1864. The Five Seasons, a full-length concert work commissioned by Haida artist Robert Davidson and the Canada Council begins production in September 2017.
